Man, I signed up for a Blogger account just to reply to this blog. But it had to be done, man, I just had to give props to what has to be my favorite MP3 Blog on the net. I swear, it's great coming home after the work week and checking out all the hot new shit you always have up each week.

And what's better is that most of this stuff you've been posting about is finally gonna be dropping and I can pick it up - speaking of which, any updates on the date for the new Team album? I know you said a while back that it should be coming out in a month or two, but I can't wait! Also, can anyone confirm what record label they're releasing this on?

haha, the only bummer about this barrage of great bay area joints dropping this fall is the timing - should've dropped this summer so I could bang them with the windows down on my ride! Fall is too damn cold for that in Wisconsin!

Anyways, keep up the grind man, I'm loving this blog.

mornview, i think i heard something that the new The Team album, "World Premiere," is gonna be out around October? but i could be wrong.

i picked up their first album, "The Negro League," just a little while ago cause I wanted to finally support them instead of downloading their tracks.. haha it was definitely worth it. well i think they're still with Moe Doe Entertainment along with Keak Da Sneak. their site was stated on the album, www.moedoeonline.com, so i'm guessing you can check out further updates on them.

Hey jsoong, thanks for the heads up. I heard the new Team album is gonna be released on a major label, but I wouldn't be surprised if Moe Doe inked a distrobution deal with whoever that is. I just wish I knew who the major was ... "Tonight" practically sounds like it could land them on Roc-A-Fella, but outside of that they're a little too West Coast for them, I guess.

And yeah, I have recently picked up their debut as well, and I'd agree, anyone who doesn't have it yet should peep it. It's definetely about the beats ... but I think they'll outdo themselves on the new album, since they seem to have developed lyricaly quite a bit, and the production is somehow even better than before.

If they are on a major this time around, I really hope the label pushes this album like crazy ... I know some bay area dudes are on major labels these days, but still, living in Wisconsin, I wouldn't even know - these guys got to get video play, major radio rotation, the whole nine.
